How have you popped the uca from the knuckle?
I am more than broke so buying a tool is not what I am looking for
other than the clothes-pin looking tool or a fork
what ways have you guys removed the uca?
I must replace my uca, I have a new one, but i dont have the green to get a press or fork from the store
if it was the lca I would just use the floor jack, but it's not
Throw any ghetto method at me you think of, as I said I am replacing the uca so destroying the boot on the bad bj is not a problem. I dont want to destroy anything uninvolved with the uca/bj though

You are trying to remove a front upper control arm off a what da or dc? Please input full information, before posting a thread!
First remove the castle nut off the knuckle, then remove the fork nut followed by the two top bolts off the strut top hat....remove the strut and spring completely, then remove the two bolts that hold the UCA, tap them with a soft tip hammer or install the nuts back on and tap with a steel hammer but be careful, just enough to get them lose. And that's it! No need for special tools...Forgot to say that you need to remove brake line bolt from strut.
Use a soft face hammer! Or brass hammer, if you have these use nut method I mentioned, just make sure that nut, and stud sit flush, so that when you strike it, it wont mess open the thread on the stud....If this has happened already use a metric tap and dye set to fix your threads on the stud, and on the nut.
