Looking at buying a 94 civic coupe for five hundred dollars. Has new clutch and tires, runs and drives but the car is overheating and takes a gallon of water to keep it cool. So I was thinking the radiators shot.
Also the car has some body damage needs passengers side fender and then its been hit behind the door but nothing major as far as I know.
Also its had trouble starting twice.

Would this be a good buy or bad buy? And is it overheating just because the radiator or could it be something else.
What else should I look at before making a final decision

 

good buy if you know how to fix it yourself. do a compression test to see if the head gasket is good

 

kinda want it for project/ winter beater. So i have time to learn and mess with it
