I am in the process of replacing my 95 hatch with a 96-00 civic sedan to more easily transport myself, wife and newborn son (due in late August). Because I will still be craving a more sporty ride with weekend spirited driving aspirations, I am on the lookout for a suspension setup that will facilitate my needs without heavily disturbing my son, so something with adjustability is a must. I have been eyeing the Tein Super Street Dampers as a possible candidate.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

If i were expecting a newborn i would keep the stock **** for optimal smoothness and no need to worry about bumps and driveways.
But since you want a "sporty" feel, the only thing i can recommend is a set of tokico illuminas. Paired with your stock springs they will give you a smooth ride for when you are transporting your baby. Then since the illuminas adjust bound and rebound simultaneously, they will give you the "sporty" ride you desire. Thing is that you will be at stock ride height

I was in your shoes almost exactly one year ago. My son is turning one on the 9th of this month.
Good news...NEWBORNS LOVE HIGH SPRING RATES.
No, my friend, I'm not shitting you. I have the tried and true koni/gc setup with fairly high rates (430f 375r) and the kid never once woke up or started crying because of any issues with ride quality, even though I keep my DC fairly low. I worried about the same thing, but honestly if your pregnant misses can make it to August without killing you because she's uncomfortable, you'll be just fine! Oh, and congratulations bro. Having a child is freakin' cool as hell.

The answer: get another car, and keep it stock.
I sure am glad my wife already had a stock 96 Corolla 4-door when we got married in '07. It would suck having to deal with a baby seat and all that in my 2-door Integra. In fact some baby seats won't even work, as the rear seat belts are too short (yes I have tried).
