For those of you with children, I am thinking about getting a 96-00 civic sedan as a simple commuter that will be able to comfortable move my wife a newborn. Its the best compromise I can make with it being cheap, readily available, and still have some room a little modification with parts I currently have. Are there any fitment issues with a baby seat in the back?
i just picked up a 92 civic lx 4door, and its excellent for the kid, as is the 96 00. i dont have the wife anymore, shes a piece of ****, which is besides the point, but i have custody and it suuuucks putting my 2 year old son in and out of my EM1. the 4 door is great and has a lot of potential as far as a motor swap and appearance. Definitely pick one up! theyre good cars and i got mine for 400 bucks, however it does need some work. GL!
i dont anymore we use the wife's 4dr mazda protege i just wanted thier first ride in a car to be in a honda. her car effin sucks tryin to get a crv gotta stick wit the honda
I Love My 4 Door!! Got a Daughter that's gonna be here in a month, and I've test fitted the car seat behind the driver seat and passenger. I'm 6'3 and the wife is 5'6, and it's easy to put in on both sides! I say do it! you won't regret a 4 door!
