Hey all, I have a prob. I changed the passenger side axel 2.5 months ago and now when I'm in 2-3 gear and I step on the gas I hear a knock, knock, knock and the knocking goes faster for 2-4 secondish and goes away. Could it be the tranny? I dbl checked my axels to see if the were clicked in and the nut was tight. Does anyone have any idea??

ps... It's a 90 ef

this happens to me too. the knocking stops for me around 45mph. makes me uneasy about driving on the freeway

 

is the boot on the axle good? or does it look torn. if its torn, you need to replace an axle again.
