Default Air bag Modual

So i took air bag modual out of my 00 EM1 while working on my wire tuck, and a friend of mine said that there is a specific way to hook it back up, and if I didn't hook it up that way when i turned the car on for the first time the air bags would go off. Just wondering if there is any truth to this and if so, what is the correct way to hook them back up?

My Helm says when working around the ABS system you're supposed to disconnect the battery and let the system discharge by letting it sit a while (15 mins? 45 mins? I forget). Then you can disconnect/reconnect the airbag.

I've done this with the airbag in the steering wheel. But I haven't looked at the procedure for the passenger airbag.

yeah just make sure that the battery is disconnected and as stated above some time to discharge incase there is any type of energy stored in the module and you should be fine.
