Default wiring prob..super confused

ok so i picked up a set of used fogs for my 2000 civic hatch. the friend that sold them to me said i could just wire the ground + power straight to the corner lights, so i did, as soon i turn them on they take a ****...now my fogs dont turn on my corner bulbs dont turn on and my rear tails dont turn on...BUT when i put the blinkers they blink perfect.and...when i step on the brakes they light up...my hids work perfect..im kinda sure its a fuse but i dont know which one it is because my car doesn't have a fuse box diagram...help will be much appriciated

You blew a fuse. Check the interior fuse box until you find it.

You really need a relay, if you don't use one you run the risk of burning up the stock wiring. This method seems to janky to be safe. Goodluck
