ok so i have a set of skunk2 stage 2 cams lyin around from an old blown motor, and i also have a set of itr cams lyin around. now right now, the motor has a weapon r header, skunk2 IM, skunk2 TB, injen intake, and tuned on crome.. i dont know which to put in there. my goals for the car are to have a quick daily, not just like intake quick, but like im plannin to throw some ctr pistons in it, so i wanna make a decent amount of power, but nothing stupid. so what should i do? i know the s2's will give me more power but will it make it unreliable?

 

sk2 and tune you should be fine

 

with stock valvetrain? if so the ITRs is definitely gonna be more reliable

well i have crower valve springs and retainers im gonna put in it as well

 

Right now i'm running s2's and s2 valve train tuned. Got to tell you i love em.

 

jealous. i went jdm itr valvetrain in mine and now hesitant on what cams i wanna go with. 2001 itr cams.ctr or skunks

 

Skunk2..s2's with a nice eco friendly fuel maps, not to crazy on the tune and you will make good power, you will be faster, and you will stay reliable.
