I just threw in a b18 B longblock in my bros 93 integra GSR since he threw a rod on his b17 i just wanted to know if the usdm intake mani from the b18 has the EGR scensor, Because if it does im going to have to put the usdm on the b18b swap. Does anyone know the diff between the obd1 b18 and the JDM obd1 b18b??

I know 94-01 B18B manual trans engines do not have EGR. Not sure about the autos or 90-93 Integras.

 

90-93 manuals didn't come with EGR valves, Only automatics had them.

the reason i ask is bcuz i recently swapped in a jdm b18b in the 93 teg and i didnt put om the usdm intake manifold so im using the b18b intake manifold and im not sure if thats causing me to fail smog, the knox is a bit high i think it was in the 1200 range and its suppose to be 700 i believe. i bought a new catylatic converter 2 yrs ago, could it be that my catylatic converter went out already? a full tune up has been done to the car i only pump 91 otc from chevron
