ok my friend picked up a motor and auto trans out of a 98 coupe.
how can i tell which motor it is without driving way the hell out there just to check it out.

he gave me the VIN and said it was a 3.0 vtech v6. im not a accord guy im a civic guy so idk **** lol.

any help much thanks.

simply put he's 100 miles away. he's a retard and would take him days of trying to find out -_-

and im not driving no damn 100 miles just to look at some numbers lol

 

certain digits in the VIN will tell you which motor it is. thats all i know. maybe theres a key on google or something.
