What offsets of rims are fit for S2000?
I want to buy a set of Volk Racing SE37 17" for S2000, but front and rear are difference offsets and sizes too. So what offsets for the front and the rear will be perfect for S2000 and what sizes of tires will be good?
I can't help with wheel size and offset information, but I have read that the rear tires (labeled as 225 width by Bridgestone) are actually equivalent to a 245 width tire. The S-02 made for the S2000 are much wider than their width labeling indicates. Keep in mind that these are S-02 tires, S-02 Pole Position (not stock on S2000) do NOT follow this trend. Just some FYI when you go looking for tires. Good luck.
The SE's don't fit properly. 17" CE28N's can be custom ordered with the correct offsets (Note even with these wheels 235's in the front will rub). You want to have a ~25% stagger between the front and rear section widths, so don't freak on the different sizes front/rear(example 235 section width front mates well with 285 section width rears). Offsets are tricky, increasing width will require higher positive offsets.
Stock offsets are +55mm for a 6.5" front and +65mm for a 7.5" rear.
