Tokico blues are basically decent stock replacements, not good for slamming on or lowering moderatly either.
If you want a cheap decent setup, and you even said GC/Koni and Skunk2 then im guessing yo're willing to spend atleast $600ish. I'd just get Skunk2 Pro-S if you can afford those since theyre not to high (like $575?) and they hsould serve you pretty well. Or if you can afford around $850 then get koni yellows and ground control coilovers and keep them forever without worrying about having to upgrade. Or for i believe $750 you can get PIC Apex's which are really good from what I hear, ive not experienced them first hand, but they seem to be a good choice. picperformance.com if you wanna cheap out the apex's. They're real promising from what alot of people have said, I plan to get a set of the PIC selects when the time comes to make a decision.

thanks for this thread, been wondering the same thing. I have a 92 integ that I just bought as a daily driver. It has terrible shocks and springs cuz it sounds like hell anytime I go over a speed bump or go into a driveway. I am not looking to slam it, maybe 1.5"
I was looking at getting the Tokico HP Suspension kit. It's about $400 shipped

Anyone have any experience with this setup? Thanks

oh thanks guys i forgot to check this thread! but yeah i was planning on getting the GC/Koni set up. i know its like almost $900 (w/tophats) but i know that they'll last and give me a good ride and drop height. im willin to wait a bit longer and save up a bit more to get something of better quality

I haven't been on GC's the whole time, though. I was on H&R Sport springs (crap) for a little over 2 years, then GC's for almost a year, and now I've been on stock GS-R front springs/stock ITR rear springs with the Koni perches at the lowest setting for the past 4 years.
Koni yellows are perhaps the best when it comes to struts for a DA and GC coilovers (Eibach) are HIGH quality and gives a nice ride even when you decide to "slam" your teg. There are Koni/GC specific struts and coils made to fit together so be sure to check carefully when you decide to buy them.
yeah thats what ive been seeing. like different spring rates and settings. but its all cool im just glad to hear that what i plan on getting is gonna do my car good lol
