Default What gun do you recommend?

Im looking for a fairly low cost paint gun to paint my civic with. Im going to be using the "Hot Rod Flatz" from KustomShop. This is going to be my second paint job and i was not satisfied by my 30 dollar Harbor Freight gun haha. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks.

Does not compute, sata and low cost do not belong in the same sentence,hah....unless of course you can find a used one, even then your looking at at least 250.

O.P, what is your budget, that is a better way to narrow down your search.

I've heard lots of good about the Astro Pnuematic Evo spray gun. I will be attempting painting my car with one soon, so I don't have any first hand experience with it just yet. It's not in the some place as the $300+ guns, but a lot of people over on autobody101.com have lots of good final products with it. It usually runs about $100. Check it out and do some research and you'll see why I bought it.

Check out Sharpe's Finex FX3000. It came out not too long ago and its pretty good. Otherwise Iwata has a low cost line "air gunza" and they have a few guns that are okay.

Ordered it off of Amazon I think...it was a while ago to be honest. Yeah it's got some real good reviews...and it's an LVLP rather than an HVLP, so it uses less air.

Yeah, I hear you! No problem...BTW, I think Spraygunworld sells it, but I've heard mixed things about their customer service.

Good luck with the car man!

you want the smaller of the two if your using it to spray base and clear.

1.3,1.4,1.5 = sealer, basecoat,.midcoat perals, clearcoat ( it all is preference on what you like )
1.6 - 1.8 = primer
