Default battery light not coming on

ok i'm having some crazy random stalling and what seems like a misfire. only when car is at operating temp.

yesterday i noticed when the car stalled the batt light did not come on.
i thought maybe the bulb was burned out, but later last night the light was working again.

now i've found out that when the car is at operating temp the battery light won't come on.
when i turn the key to the on position the oil light comes on, the cel comes on then turns off, but no battery light.
when the car is cooled down all 3 of the lights come on when i turn the key to the on position

any ideas on what would cause the battery light to not come on.
and any of those ideas cause a random stalling issue. the car also has what sounds like a misfire, it will bog while driving at a steady rpm.

the car is a 90 std civic hatchback, 100% stock
i just bought the car 2 weeks ago and this problem started after i put about 300 miles on it.
when it first stalled i was sitting at a light to pull into a gas station, i thought i ran out of gas, but i had about 1/4 tank
when the car stalls it will start right back up, but usually i gotta give it some gas to keep it going for a few seconds.

things i've replaced
fuel injector
fuel filter
cap
rotor
coil
igniter
spark plugs
plug wires
IACV
adjusted tps
checked main relay for cracks, and re soldered just to be safe
checked the ignition switch per workshop manual
set timing and idle speed
all of the above things were either nasty looking, broken, or tested bad according to workshop manual.

the alternator and battery have been tested, they are fine.
thanks for any help/ideas.

when i bought the car there was a code 15, but we cleared it and there has been no cels since then.
