pretty sure they'll clear. Spoon will barely clear the 15 usdm itr wheels, so I'm pretty sure it'll clear the 16.

All the spoon calipers i've seen are 4pot? Maybe you got them mistaken with endless calipers.

Just because the wheel will fit on top of the rotor and caliper does not mean it will fit. If the offset is too high then it will rub on the back of the wheel. Being as how rotas come in different offsets, i will say that they will if the offset is low enough

^^ I stand corrected. He is right about the offset, in my case with the itr rims; you would need to switch out to extended lugs and add spacer to clear the width of the calipers. My bad about the incomplete info, when I was reading your post I was just thinking about the diameter of the rim v.s. the length of the spoon calipers (and they will clear with 15" lengthwise).

it's all dependent on wheel design as well. you may clear the spokes of the wheel with a lower offset, but the hub area of the wheel may not clear.

stock USDM ITR 15" wheels clear without any spacers needed. JDM ITR 16" wheels need a 3mm spacer to clear. so you can't really use wheel size as an indicator..it's all about wheel design.

That is very true as well.

Being as how both wheels you are interested in do not come in very low offsets, there is a chance that spacers will be required in order for them to fit.

offset alone will not guarantee fitment without a spacer....
