Default 88 integra motor options

we recently spun a rod bearing in our lemons car (88 integra) and pretty much destroyed the motor and head, otherwise the car is fine and we want to run it again at the next event in sept. a used d16a1 blacktop would be ideal as it'll drop right in but we haven't been able to find anything suitable. are there other motor options and/or parts cars we should consider for the swap? it's a race car so emissions etc don't matter, just needs to mate up to our car (wiring, mounts, trans) with a minimum of hassle. thanks for the help

Contact a local engine importer, i have found what your looking for with low miles for about $400 for a longblock.

i don't know of any such importers in my area, and what exact designation would i be importing? the differences between NA motors and JDM or other markets would seem to make that a tricky proposition if you're not an expert on honda motors (which i unfortunately am not).
