i install a set of twm itb's for my b16. when i got it tune it was opening full throttle. for some reason now it doesn't open full throttle. it only open up like 70 percent now. i call up twm and they told me to run the GS-R gas cable, so i got one and still don't open all the way. has anyone had this problem with there itb set up? i need help!!

 

take a picture. i dont see how the cable would not "work" to pull the butterflys all the way open. it isnt like there is a stopper on throttle cables to stop it from reaching wot.
and if it worked prior before, it should ork the same again.
make sure there is nothing inhibiting the itbs from opening, twist them with your hand.

 

What springs are you using on your itb's?

If the springs are too stiff it will compress the rubber bumper on the pedal end of the cable.

I had that problem twm springs were too soft to return to complete closed throttle so I went to lowes and got a pack of different tension springs.

I put 2 higher tension springs on and it wouldnt open all the way I ended up with 1 twm spring and 1 higher tension spring.
