car idle funny after valve adjustment................

Default car idle funny after valve adjustment................

i have blox type b tuner series cam & i adjusted my valve to stock specifications. .006-.007 intake & .007-.008 exhaust. today i drove the car & the idle started going up & down(sometimes). do i have to adjust my idle screw as well?

Is the motor "throttling" (rpms swing between 800 and 2000 rpms) or you have weak idle like the motor is almost stalling?

hi i hav a r33 gtr v spec im trying to find the boost control solenoid can any1 help or have a pic of where it is?

Sounds like a tuning issue to me. Take the car to your tuner & have him double check the tune.

valve lash is fine.
i double checked everything.
it was idling fine before

that would cost money and therefore is against ht code of ethics. the remedy must be free to solve.

if the idle was fine before, it's obviously something that you did to change it. i would pull the valve cover off and re-measure everything with your feeler gauge. something is off. i know that a smaller valve lash causes a low idle.

To the original poster, what have you checked over? What is your vacuum reading at idle?

yea my idle lik real mean itll strt @ 2000rpm den go up n dwn 2 1000rpm n itll jst keep on doing that how do i fix that
