are crower cams & brian crower cams the same or are they different?
whats the difference between the stage 2 cams from crower and brian crower? which one is better for an all motor h22a1 with type s pistons? whats the pro and conss for both these cams?
I'd say BC... they stoped making crower cams while back...... while BC is still in production an still widely used..

I believe Crower still makes their own cores where as BC buys them from the same place as some other manufacturers do.
Really?

i wouldnt call one more reliable than the other.
I have used both with good results.
actually the only BC cam i have had issues with was the LS turbo cams. their springs bound up really bad, ended up trashing the setup and putting a vtec head on it.

You sure it was because of the cam itself? My buddy just had me order a set of those for his LS turbo on 14psi.....
not sure if it was the cam or the spring, but it had BC everything, valves, springs, retainers, cams.
We didnt mess with it enough to find the exact cause. when we were rotating it over by hand after the install it bound up so hard that it cracked a cam cap.
we took it all apart, sent it back and put vtec on it.
interestingly enough, with the ls head it made 295hp at 11lbs, with vtec it made 360 at 11lbs! stock b16 head, with omni springs/retainers. stock valves, stock b16 cams, stock b16 intake manifold.
Both of these companies have respectable history but I've seen bcs cams break while instalation but this was on an sr20 motor I haven't seen any honda cams from crower or brian crower snap but bc has great customer service they gave us new ones with out returning the snapped ones
