The best thing for you to do is buy a HELMS manual.....

Been there.... done that!! Don't want to relive the experience of the install.
To make the airbag easier to take out, run your car into a wall at 5 mph so it deployes.

 

thats not what i was looking for. i dont have a helms manual as of now and you didnt have to be such a di*k about it. it was a question that i thought would be answered by someone thats not being an as* today. so can someone please explain this to me? thanks alot

 

He was not being a dick. A Helms manual is important for this job.

Several people have wrecked $150 wire looms on the stock wheel because they did not buy the Helms.

And there many warnings in the Helms about proper safety procedures. An airbag exploding in you face can kill you.

If you can afford $250-$500 for a cosmetic modification like the JDM ITR steering wheel, you can afford $60 for a Helms.

 

 

Thanks guys. I wasn't being a d$ck or an a$$.... My so called FRIEND wrecked my wiring harness by THINKING he knew what he was doing and a Helms manual will more than pay for itself in the long run. Sorry you got irritated, maybe we should rub some Vagisil on you....
