i have a 98 gsr that was repainted not to long ago green pearl. unfortunatly the fron bumper needed to get replaced so its the crappy black. since the green i got is a bit lighter, ive come to the conclusion that i cant match it and i dont have money to get the whole front end painted just the bumper by someone i know who will give me a deal. i need opinions on a nice color that would look good if i cant match the green

Hopefully you can match it I like that color. There are companies that will take a small sample of your paint and make you a match, I just can't remember any names.

 

Check with your local paint stores. They should be able to match your paint or at least get it really close.

 

thanks yea i love it. i hate having a black front bumper. this dude i know that paints came with like a package of all the diffrent shades of electron green pearl and we had no luck. my mirrors need to get painted too, i was thinking maybe nighthawk black pearl but idk. the paints we checked were all close but not close enough to where you wouldnt be able to tell the difference

 

get silver.. or blue..
if its clean it looks hellah good

the auto paint store by my house will scan your paint to match it, and they do an excellent job at it, call around and see what some places can do

really glad you like it. im going monday to hopefully see if i will have any luck rematching it. that way i wont need to drive around anymore with a ghetto bumper

 

I know Dupont uses a scanner that will scan anything and give you a color code... You could take something as random as a piece of grass and scan it and it'll give a color code and its mixed up by a computer so its almost impossible to get wrong...
