tranny swap questions
Kinda new but having people help. Im getting a used 2000 Accord LX. It is the 3.0 L V6. I love the way it drives and the acceleration, but i want it to be a manual transmission. i realize this will be expensive. im saving for a while. How much would it cost, for parts, and what all would i need? any help would be appreciated.

yeah from what i have read the V6 only did come with an auto. but i heard a Acura CL tranny swap works. heres a qoute from a guy on v6preformance.net
"PS. There is a manual for the J30A1 which is the 03 CLS 6spd, the 04-08 TL 6spd, & the 03-07 accord 6spd"
anyone know about this? and i also heard the J32A2 is better. could i find that and a 6 speed tranny for low price? and in the long run would a the J32 A2 be betteR? want to turbo someday, and like i said i want to make it manual.

The j32a2 is a beast. It has a better flowing head (larger valves) as well as a better cam than most j-series motors. Plus, the LSD 6spd MT is built like a tank (ring gear driven oil pump, huge gears, LSD, and sycros on the reverse gear).
