so i understand that the y80 an s80s ere both featured on both gsr and ls, whats the difference? i thought the gear ration was the same? just bought a s80 for my gsr from a 97 gsr, i heard the internals on a y80 may be stronger?

only the diff is a little stronger and the gears are so short it revs too high on the highway and your speed maxel out out 135 mph s80 trans is alot better for me it is perfect gearing for down and is perfect for highway and the top speed goes up to 170mph
