Up for sale is my 2003 Black Honda Civic SI hatchback. Here is a quick rundown of the history of the car.
It has a clear/clean title and it has been completely paid off and title is in my possesion. I am the second owner of the vehicle and I purchased it from a guy who moved from Florida (and orginally bought down there brand new) to Brooklyn two years ago. The car is my daily driver for work from ny to clifton, nj five days a week (a round trip of 30 miles total) and has never given me any problems. I perform my oil changes with a synthetic oil every 3500 miles and all the big routine maintanence checks were done at a honda dealership. Car is mechincally fine and runs great. The transmission is great with no grinding or popping out. Overall, the car has a clean title, has been well taken car of and needs almost nothing else. There are some modifications, but they are almost all cosemetic and I will also list the "negatives" of the car.
Standard Features
- 160 hp i-vtec engine
- 5-speed manual transmission
- Power windows, locks, anti-lock brakes.
- Sunroof </br>
- Stock radio with cd player
- Factory sport seats in black with red stiching
- Car has 48,xxx miles on it (as of right now, it has less than 48,000 miles but I expect miles to rack up since I use it daily)
Modifcations
- HFP (honda factory performance, straight from the automaker themselves) suspension. Car is installed with HFP suspension which include the springs and shocks and is dropped around 1 inch all around. Also has an eibach camber kit installed when I was dropped even lower. kit is BRAND NEW and was installed less than 300 miles ago.
- Weight skunk2 shift ****
- Real JDM amber sidemarkers
- Medium tints all around
- IPOD aux attachement. You can hook up any IPOD to the stock headunit and can listen to your IPOD through it
- Type R REPLICA spoiler. It has been painted the factory color and the third brake light is in fully funcational order
- Blacked out headlights that I did myself. Completely sealed with no fogging
- 6000k XenithXenon HID kit. Output is just a brighter white and not the bright blues you usually see. Very close to the 4300k OEM kits used in other cars
- Debadge the civic emblem on the trunk
- Car will come with BSA 15 inch rims with Fuzion HRI tires(around 70 percent thread) that are painted flat black by myself. NOTE: The wheels have some scuffs and nicks on them since these are my beater wheels and I have already sold my nice set.
As you can see, the mods are only cosemetic. The engine, exhuast, transmission has never been modified
"Bads"
- ALIGNED ON 8/3/09The car needs a wheel alignment because I have not had it aligned after I installed the HFP suspension. This should not be a big concern since the alignment is off just a tad. The car drives perfectly straight except the wheel is around 5 degrees to the left. Basically, you hold the steering wheel very very slightly to the left to drive straight. It really isn't a big problem but I want to list it so any buyers would know.
- The driver side lock auctotor stopped working. This basically means the motor that pops up that lock stopped working. It will not respond to the unlocking/locking from the remote and requires you to use the key to lock/unlock. It is a very minor fix and the part itself is around 40 dollars. There is a great DIY at ephatch.com The passeger and hatch door is still working.
- There is a minor scratch on the driver side fender. It is not very deep and can be filled back in with touchup paint. Please refer to pictures.
- There are two small dents on the passenger side fender. They are not that big of a dent and not noticable until you walk up close to the car or in certain lighting. Please refer to pictures.
- Front H emblem is cracked. I bought it like this.
- Overall, there are nicks and scratches from being my daily driver in the city and that is a 6 year old car.
EXTRAS
- Car will come with 4 Bridgestone Blizzak snow tires mounted on steelies that I have used for the last two seasons during the winter time.
- Factory suspension if you want to raise it back up
- Factory Spoiler

I am looking to sell the car for 8000 dollars in cash or certified check. I think it is a fair price since I went to KBB and they list for 8700 for a "fair" condition car.
I believe my car is slightly below "good" condtion and comes with lots of extras. As for trades, I have no problem doing a trade with +/- cash depending on what you have to offer. I am only looking for something with manual transmission. Reason I am selling the car is because I am looking to upgrade to something more luxury sporty so I would love to trade for a e36 m3, s2000, rsx type s .
Please contact me at
buymycivicsi@gmail.com
with any questions or inquries and I will get back to you asap. Feel free to email me any questions or request for additional photos. We can exchange numbers if you are really serious. I am available on the weekends around the city to show the car and around NJ to show the car during the weekdays.
THANKS FOR LOOKING!!!
