How much would you pay for this integra...
My friend may sell his integra I sold him a while back...

It's a 1996 LS-Special Edition with 203k miles. 5spd. I replaced the cracked, ripped, hard-as-a-rock front leather seats with great condition LS seats. There is very, VERY little rust (as you can see; pics below). The car will come with the factory wing back on, and the Lip is sold separate (to me
).
Now- the car has a bad headgasket. It also needs a clutch, and the rear passenger brake system is shot (needs new assembly).
Considering the interior is in GREAT shape, and that the body is in pretty good shape as well- what would you pay for a car like this?
I'd imagine it'd be a good candidate for anyone wanting a chassis for a Type-R driveline, since the car needs a rehash on the motor and a new clutch.
I was guessing around $1k. Thoughts?

i would give you a grand for it today if you lived in oregon. i think that's a great ballpark to ask. maybe start at 1500 and see if you can get 1200
It still looks in good condition. If you changed the timing belt and headgasket, I bet it could go for a little more. I'm not good at judging prices but if people hear the headgasket needs to be changed they will either turn away or pay a lot less. A 80 dollar fix will probably gain 300 bucks more I bet
I am sorry, but I am going to have to dissagree. I'd say 1500-1800 considering how clean it is. Hell, I am selling my teg for 1700, the body, paint, and quarter panel are (EEWWW). BUT, the motor, trans, brakes and suspension are all in good condition...
Scratch that. after going over it agian, yeah, 1200 is what I will do, but like the others have said, fix her up, and expect way more. maybe even 2k+.

$800 isn't a bad profit for a weekend fix job
Thanks for the responses guys!
Well, despite a clutch and head gasket being seemingly "cheap"...we were considering the worth of changing the head gasket on a 203k motor...might be more worth it to get something younger in there, no?
But that's understood- if the clutch, brakes, and HG were done by ourselves the car would sell for a bit more...

the hg is questionable. this is correct. if the gasket rotted like the old d15 motors, easy. if it's blown from a warped surface which is almost always the case with the b18c you will spend more. i'm not sure what hg the b18b uses but if someone knows the material it makes guessing easier.
