would u need a after market subframe for a usdm itr sway bar on a eg chassis? i herd the stock one rips but a usdm one is kinda small so i dont no if i really need one.
Im guessing you are referring to the rear subframe?
If that is the case you SHOULD reinforce your subframe to prevent subframe tearout.
Use the Beaks/BSQ/ASR or other reinforcement to be problem free!

One more thing, I suggest ASR kit because I have SEEN not HEAR from a friend's car the subframe still ripped off under hard auto X ... As for the ASR, never had seen/heard ripping... just a suggestion
Please dont spread incorrect information. Unless you have a CTR/ITR subframe or a reinforced subframe you can (and will) still have a tearout. Just because the EG/DC subframe is stronger than the EK one it is still not designed to have a 22mm sway bar.
Here is an example:

(there was a better one with better pics but i couldnt find it)

Like i stated above, I have ONLY seen tear from EK/EJ8 civic and havent seen or hear much about eg/dc. Learning new info everyday good point out. The OP in the other thread did say he has it for 5-6years with no problem. Again i said its good to have reinforcement for other chassis as well. If I were the OP, after seeing what xd89 pointed out and link to another thread about torn subframe, i WOULD BUY a reinforcement for my EG.
With the EG/DC application you should be fine if you use the beaks kit, aslong as you are running high spring rates in the rear you should okay. I'd suggest 8k or higher, anything below that i'd purchase the ASR subframe. Would i personally run a 20+ mm rear sway w/beaks kit on a eg/dc? NO! I drive my EJ8 pretty hard daily and do (safe) canyon running from time to time so i dont want to take any risks at all.

Let's clear up any confusion here.
1. Will you need subframe reinforcement on an EG chassis for use with a USDM ITR swaybar?
YES! Absolutely YES you will need some type of reinforcement. If you have a 92-95 Si with stock rear swaybar, it is rather small and mounted on standoff brackets away from the subframe. If you try to mount a larger (USDM ITR = 22mm) to those bracket, the torque load from the larger bar WILL tear those brackets out of the subframe in no time.
2. Do you need an ASR brace?
Not really. It's a good piece for sure, but a Beaks kit will be fine for your application.
3. But why did that guy's subframe tear out in that linked thread above?
That is an old Comptech setup, and from looking at the pics, it used the stock welded nut on the inside of the subframe to attach the mounting plates for the swaybar brackets. A Beaks kit removes the stock welded nuts and uses a second plate on the inside of the subframe, so that the stock metal subframe is sandwiched in between the 2 plates - a much stronger setup. I believe the ASR brace also attaches in a similar fashion, with plates inside the subframe for the bolts to attach to.
For this reason, though, I think the BSQ kit (simplest setup of them all for mounting a larger sway bar) could possibly be vulnerable to tear out, since it also uses the stock welded nuts on the inside of the subframe.
And for the record, I'm running stock ITR rear springs on my rear Koni shocks, with an ITR swaybar mounted with a Beaks kit. I've had ITR bar for nearly 7 years (originally on a BSQ kit), had the Beaks kit nearly 5 years, and the ITR rear springs for over 4 years, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever.
