b18b turbo...ls/vtec or just b18b turbo?
want to get a turbo kit, wondering if i should go ls/b16 heads and turbo
but these guys at work are saying you get more power from just an ls turbo...is that right?
also, i have a carbon fiber hood (bought the car a week ago) and its fading, how do you clean one cause i want to get it clear coated again...what are the steps? sorry i tried looking but they were just about waxing not getting it clear coated again.

I can't speak to the carbon fiber hood issue (I have never used one). Most carbon hoods are just carbon overlay anyway. They are mostly fiberglass with carbon overlay to make it look pretty...
As far as what setup to choose, going with the VTEC head will give you more options when it comes to high end HP. VTEC is nice because it allows you to have a streetable cam profile for low RPM and high-performance high RPM profile. The best of both worlds (in theory).
I say go with the LS/VTEC.

so this is my first post, not a Noob just a noob to HT. (hood) most body shops won't do it, if you sand it down and put clear coat on it, it will come off a month later. Either paint it to match the car, or buy a Fiber Images hood. i've had mine for 6 yrs and looks brand new. (Head) you can put some nasty cams in the LS head and make more power than vtec. LS heads are cheaper to blow up, so run 20lbs of boost and have fun!

im not keepin for more than 2 years, and im not taking the engine apart (unless i go ls/vtec) to change any internals, ill keep the stock internals either way
just want a fast teg haha
