So the other night i lost my key to my 2001 integra ls. I know it is immobilizer equiped. and acura says that the only way they can make me a key is to have the car in front of them. is there any way i can start it to drive it to them. or get the immobilizer code to give them. Im really low on cash due to leaving for the army in 11 days and having to prepay all of my bills.

nah, but on a serious note,your going to have to get it towed, unless you have a ecu that has a disabled immobilizer, and then you can have a locksmith make you a key.

 

the dealer can make you the immobilizer key, all they need is your pink slip or registration showing it's yours

$10 for a key (no immobilizer)

$40 for the key with the immobilizer

those are the prices here anyway. locked my keys in my 00 gsr, they didn't need the car in front of them

take your pink slip / title / registration there and they should make you a key. I've done it before.

At worst, take that and your ECU there.

 

Call other local dealerships around your area, one of them will be able to help you.
