I am currently using the F22 trany and it blows...I need something with smaller gears and preferably an LSD...I'm putting a quaife in it eventually so I don't absolutely have to HAVE an LSD, it would be nice tho. I have been looking on the net and most places tell me they can't even get the LSD H22 trany's anymore except for the type-S one and I don't want to spend 2 grand on a trany!!

maybe post websites you know of that have trany's for sale or let me know if you have one I can buy.. thanks guys!!

Why not just buy an LSD...seems that you are having no luck finding a Factory LSD equipped trans.

 

Hey man, I am actually right now in the process of looking for a person who will split a H22 swap with me. I am talking to this guy in Virginia who is selling a 94 JDM H22 swap that even COMES WITH A 6 MONTH WARRANTY. Don't think you will find too many places that will give you a 6 month warranty either. Most are startup warrantys. If you are interested email me at and we can discuss further.
Right now I don't think it is a LSD but I will find out.
I am interested in everything else from the swap.

Jimmy I'm gonna put a quaife in it, so a factory unit is not a requirement, I just thought it would be nice to have until the quaife goes in.. I'm still looking tho...

 

Doesn't the type-s tranny have atts? Thus no lsd...

 

I have heard about a Type-S without the ATTS and it had an LSD, but I never got to see it. So I would say "I don't know for sure" but I have heard they do exist. Still looking for a tranny BTW!!!

How much are you looking to spend on a non-LSD tranny? My friend has one sitting around that he might be convinced to part with.....shoot me an IM and lemme know....I believe it's a '95 with low mileage.....
Also, we can just put the quaife in it for you up front for extra money if you're interested, then just ship the whole thing to you.....we've done 2 H22 quaife installs no problemo, so we're qualified
