i want to get a b20b for my 93 da integra. Im pretty sure that b20b's are obd2 crv engines correct? My question is.... if i swap my b18 intake manifold onto the b20 block will my obd1 computer and fuel system, will it run the b20 correctly? I was running a chipped p28 before with a t25 turbo and 450 cc fuel injectors. Will i have to get my ecu re-chipped to run the b20 or should my ecu and obd1 wiring harness run the b20 fine just the way it is? Please help out. Im trying to do my homework the best i can before i rush into something that will be a lot of work or run like crap.

As long as you swap everything over from your B18 to the B20 you should be just fine.

And yes, you will need to reprogram the ecu.

 

bump ... and ummmm will the b20b run safely to the b18 redline? Will it even make power to that point? should i put the b18 head on it?
