Do you guys prefer the looks of the 2006-08 or the 2009 civic SI?

L know only the headlights and rear lights are the only difference.

The 09 front bumper looks better IMO, the chrome strip on trunk is out of place. The clear 3rd brake light depending on what color car can look better or worse.

The USB in the 09 is a nice touch. The material on the seats in the 09 is also better. The transmission shifts smoother on the 09...car just feels a little better but not that much.

09 for sure; the front bumpers and wheels look so much better

 

09 Bumper (sedan) with 06-08 grill, 06-08 trunk, with 09 taillights + center tail, with 06-08 wheels. Cannibalize all that and I'm good to go.

I've been comparing the two styles, and I'm not at all for any of they styling of the newest civics. Just placed a payment to hold an 07 si and compared to the new sedans, I like the styling much more on it. Just seems simpler?

I went with the silver. I just love how the color never gets dirty!

I looked closely at the new sedans and the huge black in the grille combined with the chrome in the back just makes me think, "why?"

I've always been a fan of the underdog Honda colors. I also like how the colors I'm cool with are the ones you don't see SO many of. I found that there really wasn't many used silver SIs around.

Had a teal DC, then a teal 95 civic, wanted a light blue s2000, but then decided on a silver Si 4dr.

I've wanted a silver Honda for a few years now. Was thinking of painting the hatch silver, then almost bought an 89 sedan in silver, but now I'm happy I'm going with the Si 4dr in silver.

Silver is an awsome color! It never gets dirty, well when it is dirty it still looks clean! My chevy was silver i loved it.

 

For me it has gotta be the 09.

 

I wish Honda offered the magnetic gray from the hybrids on the Si trim. That would have been my first choice.

 

By looking at your join date, you probably have an 09.

re: silver. I have an silver coupe, and i get compliments on how "clean" it is 3 to 4 weeks after its washed.

 

I have an 09 in DBP, but i wish they stuck with Fiji.

 

couldnt have said it better myself just wondering fog lights r standard on the 09 and up right i got the chance to drive one shifts smoother seat material feels better great car overall

Love my '09 coupe in Polished Metal Metallic, only seen one other one besides mine. I honestly like both but the '09 appears to sit lower from the front due to the bumper design.

 

Yes fog lights are standard on 09+ Si's.
