Icon6 99 f23 accord wont start

so i cannot for the life of me figure out why my car wont start. its trying to it just wont. everything is hooked up right. i took my valve cover off and took out my cam and rocker arms etc then put them back on cause i was gonna change the head gasket because it kept overheating but i decided not to so i put everything back together and now it wont start...it'll turn over but it will never catch and start.

Oh, its hosed. I'll take the car on your hands. j/k.

I say double check the cam timing. Being off a few teeth could make it not start. Clayton is only 1.5-2 hours from me.

Also I have to ask, you say "full dual exhaust". So you have one tip out the back for cyl 1&4 and another tip for 2&3? That is the only way I'd consider it full dual, but I've never heard of anyone doing that with a 4 cyl. So that would mean 2 cats, 2 mufflers and all.

full dual exhaust means cat back exhaust from the V6 accord

OK just say "V6 cat back" then, since the V6 ain't even true dual exhaust, just another dual muffler setup.

Get anything figured on getting the car running yet?

yeah i think my timing is off....i stuck a long stick in the spark plug hole and rotated the crankshaft until the stick wouldn't come up anymore and set the camshaft where both the little notches went from left to right and it said "up" so i tought i did it right but i guess not

hey, does your engine at least have a spark at your spark plug, if so your timing is off, if not then your ignition module is burnt out. why I think this because when you try to start it few times it could some time burn it out. it well crank when the timing is correct but it doesn't mean its going to start up. good luck
