i got a friend who is stranded on the freeway because a hose in her engine bay ripped. can you help me identify this hose so i can buy it and go fix it for her?

its the hose outlined in green. this is the side of the head underneath the dizzy.

Don't know where it goes from off the top of my head...but I doubt an autoparts store will be able to look up the size/length of the hose for you. I'd just go rip the hose out of the car and go get it cut to length.

 

so its not a part a store will carry?

its the water inlet hose.

 

No, they'll carry the hose. I'm just saying, I doubt they'll be able to look up what size and length it needs to be. You should just go take the hose off the car, and bring it up to a parts store, so they can cut the appropriate length.

i'm thinking its one of the hoses that goes to the heater core.. if they show your two, which they should have, it would probably by the longer one..

 

yea if she drove a sohc i wouldn't even help her... she has a dohc though so go for it! ha ha jk..

 

its a heater core hose just go anywhere and get like a 3ft piece doesn't really have to be a molded hose just so you have extra incase
