So this guy wants to trade his 96 ek hatch with 98gsr motor with my ls jdm front.. but the problem is, his car/motor is not bar'd.. im not really familiar with all the california smog laws.. The question is how am i going to make it that car legal or to be drivable? will it pass smog without getting bar'd? thanks for all the help

Integra>Hatchback
unless your dying for the HB styling...
just think...everyone who has a hatch..wants it to be an integra..
hence why it has the motor...proboly seats...proboly rear disc..
just keep your car..its easier

as far as i know the ek can never be bar'd and needs to go to another state to get registered. the b18c1 is oem only in the integra. from what i've heard swaps in cali are getting much harder to bar.
besides, your teg is really clean. save your money for a jdm itr swap and call it a day

Dont trade it, your car > the hatch anyday. If the hatch had fresh nice paint, and didnt have any issues, then maybe... i'd want like 1500-2k on top atleast if you traded without knowing anything else about both cars, just from visual observation.
wtf keep the integra! unless your boy is throwing 2-3 racks up top of his hatch. 98 gsr motor should be easy to bar in a 96 hatch. folks are just lazy to do it?
trade you my LS turbo for your LS JDM front =D
