SPOON CALIPER ?????ive searched
I drive a 98 ek coupe with a itr five lug conversion.I will be purchasing spoon calipers this week, the only problem is, I dont know which set is better. The description for the monoblock or the twin-block on every site is exactly the same. The only difference i have read is that the mono is meant for newer body style car. Does anyone know which one is better?
Thanks,
Thanks,
I was always under the impression that the difference was just in the construction of caliper. The twin block being 2 pieces bolted together while the mono being one big chunk of metal. I found this:
"Spoon designed the mono-block caliper, whose one piece construction improved rigidity. "
Even if it is meant for a newer car, the conversion from an ek to lets say an s2000 is easy!

the twin block are the one that will bolt up to your itr 5 lugs with itr rotors... the mono block are for the newer s2k and stuff ... which you will need a larger front rotors to make it work
