Adams Wheel Cleaner Damage?
Got the NSX back from the mechanic last night and decided a quick wash was in order. Also decided I'd use the Adams Green Wheel Cleaner I ordered for my wheels (silver powdercoat) a couple of weeks ago. Well, after letting the car sit until cool and then washing the car, I use the Adams stuff. After rinsing, the wheels look like they've changed color from silver to a matte gray. Arggghhh - this stuff is supposed to be gentle.
Any ideas on how I can bring back that silver finish (outside of repowdercoating)?

Possibly try putting some sealant on it or washing it with simple green or something. If neither of those work, I'd call Adam's and ask them what's up.
Thanks for the reply. I emailed them and they responded in a matter of minutes. They apologized for what happened and are sending me some Swirl and Haze Remover and an applicator to fix the problem. Good example of proper customer service. Nah, GREAT example of customer service.
If this does indeed fix the issue then I'll be a happy guy. I'll post up how it goes.
