usually cheaper to sell your entire car and then buy another 5spd car. if you shop around many of us have found 94-97 GSR's for $3500

It depends on where/who you're buying it from. I've seen LS Hydro trannies sell for $250 to $400.

Don't forget, you're going to need a lot more part than just the tranny. Off the top of my head;

Manual trans
manual trans upper mount
clutch pedal assembly
clutch master and slave cylinders
all clutch lines
shift linkages
interior shifter console
and a manual ECU

I may also be missing a couple things, but that's it for the most part.

Edit: and I'm pretty sure you need to change the brake pedal since the one in automatic cars are wider than one in a manual trans car.

really though if you wanna do the auto to manual conversion, its going to cost you a lot more and a lot more labor

It probably won't be worth that much for your auto transmission. Someone with a blown tranny may be desperate for one and buy it but the odds are slim.

automatic ls trannies average 200 bucks here. thats street price, but if you know which parts yards to get them from, you can get them for 65 bucks here plus the pull..
