Default Sacramento area body shops

ok so here is my rex in all her glory...

while being painted at my buddies house...

then last monday on may 18th this happened...

i was rear ended by a jeep, right now im just waiting to hear back from the other drivers insurance company. i went to their shop and they only quoted me for a bumper, paint and body work for 950. then today after work i went to honda and they said they couldnt give me a quote because i re-painted it. so i went to the maaco over by arden mall and they quoted me 1097 for all new parts (bumper, reinforcement, foam insulation and clips as well as body work n paint) and if i repair it myself they can re-spray the car for just under 600.

now my question is has anybody had any experience with this particular maaco?

well i dont wanna take it off till the insurance assumes liability. but under my tail lights there are 3 screws that bolt onto the support....
the red dots are where it bolts on to the support...

and here is a pic of the rear bumper assembly blown up and i added the red dots where they bolt on...
