Basic run down:
Buddy of mine has a DA Integra he purchased with no title. Purchased a shell to place the running motor from the title-less DA in. Both are 91 LS Integras.
After the swap, motor would turn but would not fire. Checked all grounds, changed dizzy cap. Once that was done, he tried to fire up car again but this time when key was turned, NOTHING would come on...no cluster lights, dash lights, no turning of motor...NOTHING!
At this point, he changed the main relay, ignition harness, ECU, and also changed out fuel pump. Still nothing.
He, and I, are trying to figure out why all of a sudden the car went from working and turning motor to absolutely nothing? Has anyone ever had this problem with a DA or DC/DB and how did you solve the problem?
I suggested trying to tap into the ignition wires and put the starter wire on a switch and the other 4 power wires on a switch to see if that would bring power on and then turn motor over. Trying to avoid this and have a normal running car.
He is needing this car for a daily driver so help is needed ASAP!
Thanks in advance!

you have a bad connection somewere, just checking ground and changing the dizzy cap would not make it just stop cranking over..put a meter on the contacts of the main relay and see if it gets power as he turns the key
yea man i got the same ****n problemi swapped a b18b1, I hooked everything up and i get no power at all but b4 i did the swap my car wuz workin fine. Everybody told me to check my grounds and main relay but im just gonna buy new ground wires and a main relay and see if that works .but good luck with urs man
