Engine ping 2002 Accord v6
We have owned this vehicle since new and it pings under heavy acceleration, have had it to the dealer numerous times and they tell me that the ping you hear is normal.
If we use premium unleaded fuel the pinging seems to go away. Can the engine be tweaked somehow to eliminate this annoying ping ?. How should I address the problem with the dealer to fit this ?.
