If its a daily driver/stock just get a cheap replacemet but made completely out of metal, do not get one with the plastic top and bottom like the oem units.

Alimunum because one with a one year warranty should not fail after a years worth of season changes if it is constructed properly. On ebay you can find all aluminum radiators under $100. quality may be questionable but a koyo, mishimoto, or godspeed are pretty much guaranteed. Just wiegh out what is the most important feature. I also saw a program on myth busters that an egg does actually seal holes and cracks of minor size, if you want to try that

What is the point of the all aluminum? Does it "cool" better?

Steel is too heavy and does not distribute the heat as well as aluminum, don't buy steel please. Lifetime warranty just means it will fail. $160 for godspeed and 40% better cooling efficiency w/ 3 year warranty.

It evenly disperses heat to all sections of the radiator causing more of the air flow to cool the coolant. Copper does better than aluminum and gold better than copper. If it is not evenly dispersed, the hotspot is much hotter causing it to cool at a slower rate for 2 reasons. (1) it is hot! hotter takes longer to cool. (2) it is smaller. smaller area allows little air to carry away heat. only so much heat can be aborbed by air, so more air = better cooling. hope this clears things up

Wise. My electric fans from FAL instanly made a differece, since they draw more air when sitting, they are on for a shorter period of time which mean less current draw time. And they are loud too. I wish I had the Godspeed radiator.

Yeah. As long and the welds are good quality there really is nothing to worry about.
