so i dont like my horn anymore...nobody ever hears it....but i sure do like my g/f's TL horn...sounds like a sweeet trumpit....anybody know whats involved to covert it over....is it just the horns....???

 

pretty much just the horns
if they overload the circuit, the fuse will blow. in that case all you have to
do is add a relay

 

koo...now i just gotta convince the g/f to swap wit me....wonder how much they cost brand new

 

I dont like my horn either. It sounds so wimpy.

No chit, just the other day some fuggin farmer in her truck cut into my lane while I was right beside her, I layed on the horn and she still didn't move back.

I'm guessing she didn't hear me because:
-my horn is not loud enough and she had the stereo blasting
-she was being a bitch and wanted to cut into my lane regardless
-she is an inbred born with no ears

I have the Triple air horns from Pep Boys. Theyre loud as ish! Easy to install, just need to find a bracket to mount the horns to. They sound nice too!

 

How much were they?

 

They were around 35-40 bux. But I think theyre worth it. VERY LOUD! hehe!

 

I was thinking about this the other day.

There's two horn buttons on the steering wheel. They should be wired to customised horns. I want one to say, "*******!" and the other to say, "Bitch!"

Anyone know if the Hella Supertone can be mounted facing downwards? You'd think it wouldn't matter, but my horns on the Pig sound a little funky since I moved them

BTW - I think BMW horns plug right in. I was going to do that swap on #009, but the dealership never had them in stock
