Default After i/h/e, what can I do now?

I have an AEM Intake, Comptech 4-2-1 Header, and Thermal Axel back exhaust. I dont have too much money to use but Im wondering peoples opions on what I can do next. I want to get something that will make my i/h/e setup worker better as well as gain the most amount of hp. Im looking to spend under $1000. Please let me know what you think. Thanks!

yup a highflow cat would be good, also why don't you get adjustable camgears and then spend a few bucks on getting it tuned ?

sure you could get a better header and exhaust but that would be over his price limit. if you want to stick to that 1g price religiously the i would get

1)high flow cat-----~$190
2)cam gears-----~$200
3)vafc-----~$200-300

that would well be under you 1g price limit and with the extra money you can spend on the dyno.

better i/h/e... he's right...

and/ or get better gearing... for better acceleration "feel"

you could also benefit from a test pipe and tuning with either cam gears + vafc or hondata, etc.....

Cam gears, and some tuning. Then a JDM final drive. Should come out to around $1000.

How about suspension mods or fuel tuning?

That's my choice for my future.

Multiplying torque factor is adding real usable power not just "feel" is it not?

FD, fly, clutch (if you're doing the FD, might as well do em all)

I guess to stay under or near your 1K limit, you'd have to go JDM FD over ATS, but I'd do the ATS worth the extra 300

i agree with upgrading yer exhaust, but if he isnt set on upgrading camshafts, the comptech peice does VERY well....or shall we bring out the dyno sheets?

Forget about hp for the moment and get the JDM final drive and a lighter flywheel, (TODA) you won't regret it and you will be under budjet.

So what exactly does a new final drive do? acceleration increases, is that it?

IT IS! I will write my complete review of the ATS FD tomorow...but OMG...the pull...OMG...it is a different feel than before...and it is a GOOD feel!

ATS FD: ~$750
High Flow Cat: ~$200

those are my recommendations!

Why not remove power steering while you're at it. Doesn't cost anything, and frees up a little hp.

just a thought but what about adding a FBR in that mix, to bump up that fuel pressure.
