Default head swap

Will it fit if I put an D16Y7 head into my D15b8 block? any mods need to be done?
Would i gain any HP?

will The D16Y7 dizzy bolt up to the D15B8 head with no mods to the dizzy?

no you have to use the dizzy that came with the head. you will gain a tad bit. you have to use a d16 timing belt and new head gasket and thats it...good luck..alot of work for nothing..at least find a vtec head to put on and pain the valve cover white

You need 1 head stud for the Y7 (or just a '96-'00 D-series in general).

For the Y7 distributor on the B8 head, no. It will physically bolt on to the head, but the plug is different. The '92-'95 Civics have a 2 plug distributor, were the '96-'00 Civics have 1 plug distributors. On top of that, the '96-'98 distributor has different wiring than the '99-'00 distributors.
