shift light?
i have a 4 inch sunpro tach and want to use the light on it as a shift light. is this possible? can i take the light off and use that? the light itself has 2 wires comin off it... is this all ineed? the tach itself has the red/green/blk wires. any way to use wat i got...
you have to use the tach and the shift light together if you want to use it as a shift light.. red pos. black neg.. green is rpm.. you would set the rpm that you want to shift on . on the tach.
units like this

you adjust the rpm at what you want to to blink at. the light is just a light. some people remove it when its annoying

there is actually a guy on here that did a write up on taking one apart and making just a shift light so you dont have the giant tach im not dure where the post is but you can probably search and find it
