i have a Viper 5000 alarm installed in my car. havent had any issues until the last couple of days. every once in a while the damn thing wont unlock?!?! you arm/disarm it a couple times still locked. you can hear the relay/actuator on lock but not unlock. 95% of the time it just doesnt even seem to try to unlock?? it went a couple days last time before wanting to be a bitch. also, its doing it to both doors.

any ideas?

 

When your alarm fails to unlock the doors, try to unlock it with the factory switch in the door (if you have factory locks). If it unlocks with the factory sw, most likely a poor connection on the unlock wire.
