94 civic cx gutted !

D16a6 block with fully rebuilt stock, and race bearings, zc pistons, and shaved.

D16Z6 head, ported and polished, skunk2 cam,skunk2 cam gear, custom ecu chip/tune, shaved head.

civic si tranny,

everything runing perfect, and only about 2k on motor, revs to 8k,

full exhaust with type-r catalytic converter, runs 93 octane,


can this setup keep up with a gsr.

 

maybe, race, then post a video. alot of work to go slow imo.....good work though

There's only one way to know for sure. bench racing is ******* retarded. That thing is still gonna be slow. I doubt you will even give a GSR a good run.

I say slow because "most" sohc's are just flat out slow and boring. Even when built they don't really put down impressive numbers. Hell I even think my car is slow.
