Default Mugen ECU ??

Since I`m not able to get a JUN chipped ecu I wonder if it would make any sense to run my setup with a Mugen ECU...

My n/a setup:
JDM 4-1
JUN stage 2 cams
AEM camgears
HJS high flow catalytic converter
Idol catback exhaust (60mm)

I don`t like my Power FC anymore because dyno tuning is very difficult where I live.. One dyno run costs 50 Euros without using a sensor because there`noone else around with a lambda sensor...

But to make the long story short: Will a Mugen ECU work for me ?

Why can't you get one? Have you e-mailed JUN in Japan. They were very helpful when I was equiring about ECUs to go with their cams.

They should even have a program closely matched to you mods, as they seem tobe the standard that you would use with that cam upgrade.

The mugen ECU will not work with aftermarket cams, It was designed to use the stock cams.

I think he had it remapped. The Mugen ECU will work with aftermarket cams, it just won't work very well. It was designed for and works best with stock cams.
