i've received this email from my contact on Japan regarding Jun camshafts:

"Please state clearly the duration/valve lifts when you are ordering. Because in each TYPE (I,II,III) there are IN shaft and the EX shaft and within each part numbers there are 3 more profile of camshaft, making it a total of (9) combinations of shafts you can choose from. example your order should be TYPE I ,/ Profile 2 = IN/75(300)/10.9, EX/75(300)/10.0. Part number 1004M-H001, 1004M-H101 . ( of course better to separate them into two items in the excel file) I hope you are clear on this. "

can anyone clarify me this matter, thanx in advance

 

3 (IN) * 3 (EX) = 9!!!

 

uh??? you mean, for example chosing a type 2 Intake cam and a type 3 exhaust wich gives a total of 9 different profiles that i can chose from?

from what i understand about this they say that inside a Type 3 (for ex.) there are 3 profles to be chosen from.. (??)

The word combinations says it all. I think they've used some automatic translator....
