Located in AZ, willing to let go for $14,500!!! Must sell this ASAP so please do not PM- CALL ME if you are interested. This is a seriously good deal and you will not regret it for this outrageously low price.

This car was modified when it was brand new by Toda Racing. It has been featured in multiple tuner magazines and can be viewed on Toda Racing's website. 60,000 miles after the original engine modifications were performed, the car still runs great and puts down significantly more power than a stock Type-R. I bought the car in the summer of 2007 with 53,500 miles in California and I have not had any mechanical problems since purchasing. At the time of purchase, the axles were clicking due to worn C.V. joints, so I had both of the axles replaced when I got home by an Honda/Acura authorized mechanic. The title is clean and the vehicle has never been in any sort of accident.
The car has had a full tune-up, including a fresh synthetic oil change, a valve adjustment, new NGK spark plugs and wires, new cam seals and head gasket, and a new clutch master cylinder.
The modifications are quite extensive, and if emailed I can provide full scans of the October 2003 Modified Magazine feature car article that dives into the engine modifications and building process.

This car has over $20,000 worth in parts alone, but I am setting the reserve drastically lower than this for a quick sale.
Performance:
The car runs extremely well. On start up, the engine idles at around 1,700rpm for a minute or two until the engine starts to warm up, then drops to a smooth 800-900rpm idle. The clutch still grabs like new and provides a very smooth gear transition. The engine redline has been set at 9,000rpm with a fuel cut-off at 9,200rpm with an 11.3:1 compression ratio. The engine build created a usable power band extending all the way until 9,300rpm, but for the sake of longevity and safety, my tuner and I decided to set the redline to 9,000rpm. The engine made 185whp last summer in 110 degree heat with a dirty air filter, and I suspect that the actual horsepower rating is closer to the 200whp obtained after the initial build that is reported on Toda Racing's website (link listed below). The coilovers installed are valued at $3,500 new on Toda's website, and are the top of the line suspension offered by Toda. Being racing coilovers, they provide the car with almost zero body roll, along with the help of the chassis bracing provided by the rear strut tower bar and the OEM ITR bracing. One downfall of racing suspension is that it makes the ride very rigid, and also noisy. The rear end exhibits a "popping" sound that comes from the hardened suspension, but I have been repeatedly told that this is common with all high-end racing suspension and that it is not a problem. This ITR out handles all of the cars I have driven, including the S2000 I owned previous to it. It is also faster, thanks in part to the ATS 4.9 final drive that allows for faster acceleration. The power really picks up at around 5,000rpm and carries strong all the way to the redline, with VTEC engaging at 7,400rpm for maximum high-end power. I know that the factory VTEC engagement is lower than this, but due to the engine modifications, the greatest horsepower curve is obtained with a higher engagement.
The rear tires are Parelli's and the fronts are kumhos. The front tires will need to be replaced within the next few thousand miles (I recommend replacing all four tires when the fronts are fully-worn). No wires are showing and the tread wear is relatively even along the front and rear tires.
Paint:
The paint is in overall great condition. It is still glossy and reflective. There is a small network of thin cracks in the paint on the left side of the (removable) front lip. It is only noticeable from ground level from two feet away. Pictures are included. There are some sap stains on the left side of the hood that I have not been able to remove, but fortunately they are not noticeable unless looked at from the right angle. Pictures also are available of this. There is one very small nick in the paint located near the windshield on the hood, and two minuscule ones on the passenger door near the handle. There are no dents or dings or noticeable scratches anywhere on the body. The roof is slightly (and I mean insignificantly) less reflective than the rest of the body on close inspection, but still retains full color. After a wax this should not be noticeable at all. Overall, the paint is in excellent shape, especially considering that the vehicle is nine years old.
The car will be fully waxed and detailed in the next few days before being sold.
Issues:
The only problem with the car, and this is a pre-existed mechanical issue that I have easily driven with since I bought the vehicle, is that the transmission occasionally pops out of second gear at very low RPM (under 2,500rpm). This generally happens to me in parking lots when I am repeatedly accelerating and decelerating while in gear. The cause of the problem is the 1/2 sleeve in the transmission. A new set of synchros would not only remedy the problem, but would also ensure an extremely long life for the transmission. Other than that, the car was checked over by my mechanic one month ago and was free of problems. The buyer may request a new independent inspection at their cost, though I can assure that there are no other known issues.
Also, the car used to have a full audio set up that took up the trunk and back seat. I had this removed because I wanted use of my rear seats. Unfortunately, I do not have all of the hardware required to revert the rear seats to their fully-usable condition. Lacking is the seat belts and the hardware necessary to attach the seat backs to the latches on the sides of the interior. The original mounting spots for the seatbelts were replaced by the previous owner with tweeter speakers, so it will be up to the buyer to revert this to original condition of he/she chooses. I have been told that the total cost of doing so would likely be under $100, with the hardware itself being widely available because it is no different that other DC2 Integra parts. Also missing is the spare tire, the trunk board and mat, and the trunk cover that serves to separate the back seats from the trunk. The trunk is lined with Dynamat dampening material from the stereo that I have chosen not to uninstall on my own. There is currently no stereo installed, though I will include the head unit that was in the car when I purchased it, along with the speaker crossovers that will be necessary to wire the speakers back up to the stereo. There is a thick power cable for an amp that, along with all of the other wiring, is accessible where the rear seats normally are. There are photos included that will provide you with a better idea of all of this.
I am located in Tucson, AZ. I have the title in hand. I am willing to ship the car anywhere at the buyer's expense. Scans are available of the Modified Mag. article that outlines the entire building process via email.
